We do not want to overwhelm you with lots of legal language, but we do want you to feel confident in our service and our dealings with you. Hence a few basics re our Training Courses are laid out here.
The Contract
The contract will be between you as an individual and Praxis Films Ltd., under English Law, for us to provide the short course you sign up to on the terms contained.
Participant Projects / Proposals
People are understandably nervous of talking about their own projects in public; they are understandably concerned about protecting their ideas for documentaries, factual programmes etc.
During our courses Praxis offers to take such ideas and allow the group and the tutor to explore them. Clearly this is an open discussion. We will quite understand if people do not want to discuss any projects in this way.
Praxis undertake that any projects thus offered to group discussion on courses, or raised with a tutor individually, remain the property of the participant putting forward the project and Praxis Films Ltd. will have no claim, will make no claim to ownership of such. Discussion with a tutor during a course will necessarily be limited, and we would suggest our MENTORING on such.

We would stress that we are a reputable company, with 20 years probity and standing in our industry. We deal with projects on a daily basis. We are more interested in our long-term business than any short-term project, and our reputation means more than our even thinking of trying to claim some interest in any embryonic project, no matter how strong it may seem on paper.
